Founded in 2011 and based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, 3D Evolution (3DE) are a privately held live image capture services start up developing and fabricating camera rigs that permit 3D filming to be shot at rates comparable to 2D costs. Simultaneously, 3DE are developing 360 Spherical equipment, production techniques, and image capture processes that will greatly simplify the workflow of 360 filming allowing for lower cost, high quality live capture media product that is true stereoscopic 3D, with 360 Spherical ability.

New and existing device markets (Second Screen, advertising, lower budget movies, TV, etc.) and online based distributors will require a strong demand for 3D/360 content production and distribution opportunities. 3D Evolution (3DE) provides the services, expertise, and equipment to fulfill those needs in a cost efficient manner. The Second Screen 3D/360 interface and content needs are relatively new, and internet based distribution is growing rapidly, replacing the outdated production and distribution models of the past, creating the opportunity to provide our services to the entertainment industry in the new era of audience based content delivery.

Utilizing a proprietary 3D Stereo Camera Rig (3DE–SCR) and employing our Reel Production Methodology (RPM), 3D Evolution (3DE) has realized the capability of creating theatrical quality productions at a fraction of the cost associated with traditional 3D systems and productions. Additionally, we have the capability of upgrading our true 3D offering into 360 Spherical live image capture services using our Virtual Reality Rig (3DE-VRR) for high end capture or our 360 Prosumer (quality) Rigs (3DE-360-PRS or 3DE-360-PRM) for cost effective Monoscopic/stereoscopic solutions.
